Open wide and swallow

If you've ever tried to feed a dog or a cat a pill, then you can feel Samus' pain here, with Kraid. Poor Kraid. He just looks pissed. Poor Samus. She's about to get eaten. Good thing that power suit is helping her hold his jaws apart so she can sucker that last super missile down his throat. Again, you've got my bs-ed Samus design. I fudged her gun arm onto the wrong arm for the purposes of the pic. Oops. I've always figured it was interchangeable anyway. It'd make sense. I thought about adding a background, but for now I'm leaving it as is. Because I handing over a large resolution of the art to deviant whom I approached about collaborating on something. This happened to be what I was working on and Samus seemed like a good idea to her. I have the feeling she's gonna look at Kraid's line and be like "WTF is that line supposed to be?!?!?" and I'll have to respond "I don't know either, but sure does make him look mean."

Speaking of which, Kraid always did look kind of goofy in the games. I wanted him to look like Brinstar's top predator here. He's nicked and scared, and dented, and pock marked. He's the kind of beasty that eats other beasties like him because he CAN. I really loved his Metroid Zero Mission incarnation. A short fight, but a hard one if you don't keep on your toes. I can sleep my way through him in Super Metroid, though he's still really freaking impressive there. I can sleep my way through that GAME and still beat it in under 3 hours. Maybe I'll do a pic of Samus fighting all her trademark Super bossess *coughthebestbossescough*. Anyways, I is tired and will be retiring now. Enjoy y'all.
