Tale of the Dead Town by Steelpengu Tale of the Dead Town by Steelpengu
After we got done shooting Sunday we decided to have some fun and shoot some publicity shots recreating book covers. Here we tackled probably the easiest and one of the closer covers to the costume: Tale of the Dead Town( [link] ). The Dead Town itself is even gets a cameo in the short, floating sleepily between a lonely mountain pass.

I'd considered REALLY tweaking it to match the original cover, but chose to only manipulate what was absolutely necessary so as not to cheat with what we have.

next is our recreation of one of my favorite covers to quite possibly my favorite D book: Raiser of Gales.

For more on what I'm doing check out my journal: [link]
or the rest of the D short film gallery: [link]

Thanks! Just wait till I get the body armor in. I want to make an alternate costume with the slimmer bodysuit design you see more commonly in later Amano art and Bloodlust. It'll be a little more Metal Gear survival suit, in keeping with the practical look I'm aiming for.

I always wanted to get into Cosplay, but I'm no good at sewing and even though I've been told I'm pretty much constructed like a living anime girl, I'm really hard to fit for clothes. The closes I get is I do the local Renaissance Faire. I got accepted into the pirate guild that runs that tavern, so I'm super thrilled lol.

You've got a waist smaller than mine with boobs bigger than my head with pronounced cheek bones and almond shaped eyes? If so say you're single and we'll call it a deal.

Um. My waste is pretty small....probably 24 or 26 inches I guess...and I wear a 28GG-H. Not sure they're bigger than your head, but they're definitely not small lol.
