I was doing my daily haunting of Gelbooru when I came across this saucy pencil piece and a poor pron aficionado lamenting that it was not in color. So, being a kind soul that I am, I took the task upon myself. It was actually a rather informative exercise and reinforced some assertions I made about coloring a friend's book. I learned that I must be doing something wrong in my base drawing because my method of coloring got easy, instant results on this baby that take me days otherwise. I also learned that in color mode lighter is darker and darker is more saturated. And yes, the aesthetic border around the figures is to hide their scraggly edges! Everything has a purpose!
